TransFleet
TransFleet system is based on the principle of real-time control of transport processes. In a unique way, it connects the systems of public transport planning, vehicle operation and position monitoring and the system of counting the number and movement of passengers. The carrier thus obtains a comprehensive view of the current and long-term status of the service.
An enormous amount of real-time traffic monitoring and management data is collected and processed and their important aspects are presented to users.
OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT
TransFleet evaluates the pattern deviations in such a way that the dispatcher is not forced to monitor the computer screen continuously but is appropriately alerted to the problem situations and conditions. Based on previous experience, the system automatically provides possible solutions to the situation.
QUALITY OF TRANSPORT
Companies operating public transport, through data obtained from traffic monitoring, are able to evaluate the effectiveness of their activities and services in relation to passengers. Thanks to the TransFleet system, the carrier obtains analytical overviews and tools for assessing the quality of the work of the employees as well as recommendations to the authors of the timetables.
With regard to quality, the TransFleet system allows:
- to check the coverage of the planned connection by drivers and vehicles
- to make corrections to the connections made
- to manage multiplied, shifted and spare connections
- to evaluate real driving against timetables
- to analyze the route performed
- to analyze the quality of transport operations
- to control transfers and follow-up
VEHICLE OPERATION
Transfleet is able to monitor the operating parameters of the vehicle. The information obtained serves to control the behavior of the driver in relation to the vehicle during the planned work, thus allowing the operating costs to be significantly more efficient. They also serve to monitor and evaluate the quality of the services provided toward passengers, e.g. by monitoring the internal temperature of the vehicle, the driving behavior of the driver (rapid acceleration, harsh braking). It is also possible to monitor fuel consumption at the selected time period, on a specific line, route, or by line and driver.
MONITORING OF THE CONDITION AND DEFECTS OF THE DEVICES IN THE VEHICLE
The functionality of the Internet portal of the dispatch information system ensures that the dispatcher is alerted by alarm to non-standard situations in vehicles. It can intervene operationally in the transport plan and address the problems that have arisen. The system enables it to communicate directly with the driver in the form of voice and text communication. If necessary, the dispatcher in the system is able to plan the connection, the driver or the vehicle, and these changes are immediately reflected in the on-board computers on the vehicles.
